An 18-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with two separate alleged assaults and a robbery in Edinburgh.

The incidents both occurred in Queensferry Street between 3am and 3.45am on Sunday 24th January.

A 24-year-old man was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary for treatment on a suspected fractured cheekbone following one of the assaults.

Enquiries are continuing to identify other members of the group believed to be involved in the alleged assaults. Anyone with information that can assist with our investigation is asked to contact police immediately.

The man is scheduled to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court today (March 12th).
