From 1st October 2009, Lothian and Borders Police will be changing some of the public counter opening times throughout the City of Edinburgh.

In order to continue to provide the best standard of service we can, we want to make sure we can help you at the times we promise we can. This means having our public counters open at adjusted times.

Open 24 hours, seven days a week
St Leonards Police Station
Gayfield Police Station

Open 0700 – 2300, seven days a week (no counter service 1100-1200, 1900-2000)
Leith Police Station
Portobello Police Station
West End Police Station
Wester Hailes Police Station
Drylaw Police Station

Open 0800 – 2000, Monday – Saturday (no counter service 1130-1200, 1600-1700)
1045 – 1900, Sunday (no counter service 1500 – 1600)
Craigmillar Police Station
Corstorphine Police Station
Oxgangs Police Station
Howdenhall Police Station

Open 0900 – 1700, Monday – Friday (no counter service 1300-1400)
Airport Police Station
Balerno Police Station
South Queensferry Police Station

PLEASE NOTE while the public counter opening times will change, Lothian and Borders Police are NOT closing any operational police stations. We will continue to provide a high standard of service to the local communities we work in partnership with.
